Upper material: The upper material is made of high-quality, hydrophobic nubuck leather with a thickness of 2.8 – 3.0 mm. The red and yellow signal design ensures good visibility in all weather conditions. Inner lining: a Gore-Tex membrane makes the shoe completely waterproof and breathable at the same time. A highly abrasion-resistant lining fabric with fleece interlayer ensures optimal climate comfort in all seasons with the highest demands. Increased chemical protection. Plastic/fleece insole. The moisture-absorbing plastic/fleece insole is dimensionally stable and torsion-resistant. It reduces point pressure, e.g. through stones. Sole: The sturdy and abrasion-resistant Vibram rubber/PU sole has a robust terrain profile for a secure step in reputable terrain. The lightweight PU cushioning wedge ensures impact absorption and good rolling comfort. The outsole is heat and fuel resistant and non-chalking. Conforms to EN ISO 20345:2012 The insert is comfortable, cushioning and moisture-wicking. A separate heel cup provides good cushioning and foot guidance. Cut protection. The shoe has cut protection level 2 (24 m/sec. ), in accordance with EN ISO 17249:2013. Haix protective cap. The anatomically shaped and padded toe cap in a wide design ensures safety and comfort. Haix 2-zone lacing. The two-zone lacing system allows a separate adjustment of the shoe to the foot and shaft area for optimal grip. Haix Climate System The Haix Climate System uses the pump movement created when walking to transport moisture to the ventilation openings on the shaft and tongue. Other features: lacing system with smooth-running lacing elements, no side seams, sturdy sole, rubber toe and heel protection for a longer service life, all-round rubber edge strip for stabilisation and protection against stones, spikes, etc.
