We have provided this website for your use, subject to the terms and conditions listed below. Please read these carefully. By using our website, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time, we therefore recommend that you review these terms and conditions each time you visit the website.
These terms and conditions are governed by and will be construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of New Zealand. If at any time we do not enforce any of these terms and conditions or grant you time or other indulgence, we will not be construed as having waived that term or condition or our rights to later enforce that or any other term or condition. Further, if any part or provision of these terms and conditions is deemed to be invalid, unenforceable or illegal, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect

Users outside New Zealand:
Our website is operated by us from New Zealand. The information on our website may not be appropriate or available for use in other jurisdictions. If you choose to access our website from a jurisdiction other than New Zealand, you do so on your own initiative and you are responsible for compliance with any applicable laws of that jurisdiction.
The design and content contained within our website is intellectual property which is either owned or licensed by New Zealand Workwear. The website is intended for both personal non-commercial use and for commercial business use.
You may not systematically extract and/or utilize parts of the content of our website and in particular, you may not utilize any data mining, robots or similar data gathering and extraction tools to extract (either once or many times) without our prior written permission. You may not create and/or publish your own database that features content on this website (e.g. our prices and product listings) without our prior written permission.
Each of the various trademarks, product names, company names and corporate identities represented on our website are the property of the individual companies, used by us with their permission, and are not to be reproduced or used without the express permission of its owner.
When you place an order on our website, you are making an offer to buy the goods. Before you place an order, you must first register a new account, or if already registered, you must log into the website. Registration requires, among other information, entry of a credit card for payments.
Purchases: If the product you wish to purchase is in stock, the order will be placed in the shopping cart and your credit card account will be charged. If you desire to purchase a product which is not in stock, you must request a quote for the product. Quotation information will include the product’s current purchase price and available quantity. When you receive the quote, you may discard it at no cost to you. If you decide to purchase the product from Europe for the quoted price, an order will be placed to begin importation of the specified product, and yet your account will still not be charged. When the product has arrived at the New Zealand Workwear depot, then your account will be charged, and the product will be passed to a NZ courier for transport to your registered delivery address.
We have made every effort to display the products featured as accurately as possible. The equipment you use to view our website may impact on the display of our products. We do not guarantee that the color, texture or detail of the product shown on your screen will accurately reflect the actual product.
Measurements provided on our website site are approximate only. Age information is supplied as a guide only. Please check the manufacturer’s instructions and/or packing to ensure the product is age appropriate.
The website is provided for our customers to buy, or to find out more about our products. Products displayed may not be available in stock, or available to purchase from Europe through our website.
The number of units you wish to purchase per product is only limited by the number of units the manufacturer can provide.
Pricing & Promotions
Prices: Prices are displayed in New Zealand dollars, inclusive of goods and services tax (GST). We have made every effort to provide accurate pricing information on our website. In the event of a pricing error on our website, the inaccurate price will not be honored and we reserve the right to cancel any orders.
If you use the “Add To Quote” feature to purchase products from the European manufacturers, you will be charged the price that is offered in the quote response.
Promotions: Promotions and discounts are specified in the website as a percent reduction of the full product prices, applicable to both in-stock and imported units, and good for a specified period of time. If a listed, promoted or discounted product is no longer in stock, you may submit a request for a quote for the product (listed in the brand’s catalogue), and if submitted before the promotion or discount period ends, the discounted price will be applied to the quoted price even if the quote is received after the promotion or discount period has ended.
Clearance: Clearance offers are available only while stocks last. Stock is strictly limited, first in, first served. Pricing reflects the clearance price (prices as marked), no other discount applies. Clearance offers are excluded from any other promotion.
New Zealand Workwear reserves the right to change any aspect of our product information at any time without notice.
Products displayed on our website are subject to availability in our stock. We have made every effort to provide accurate stock availability information on our website, however, we do not guarantee that if a product is classified as being “in stock” that stock will be available to purchase for immediate delivery. Any product of interest that is not currently in stock can be ordered through our “Add To Quote” feature and delivered to you once it has been imported from Europe.
You can return item/s purchased online to New Zealand Workwear’s depot within 14 days of receiving your order.
Prepare a return package and ship it to New Zealand Workwear’s depot:
- Fill out the returns form provided with your purchase, including reason for the return.
- Pack the item/s you are returning using the original packaging.
- Attach the Parcel Post Returns label to the package.
- Drop the item/s off at your local NZ post shop.
As long as the returned item is in its original condition:
- We will replace an item returned due to wrong size with the same product but with an adjusted size. If the adjusted size is not in-stock, the replacement item will have to be ordered and transported from Europe. We’ll do our best to make sure you receive the best fit!
- You may return the product if you are not satisfied with it. In exchange, you will receive a gift card for the same amount charged for the product which can be used to purchase any other product.
If the item/s is faulty, we will meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act to provide a remedy.
New Zealand Workwear provides a one year warrantee on the products. Some manufacturers provide an extended warrantee period. Please contact us if you have a faulty product.
New Zealand Workwear is committed to providing you with a safe and secure shopping experience. All payments completed via our website are encrypted to protect our customers.
We have made every reasonable effort to ensure the accuracy of information provided on our website, however, errors and omissions may occur. New Zealand Workwear does not accept any liability, direct or indirect, for any loss or damage which may directly or indirectly result from any advice, opinion, information, representation or omission whether negligent or otherwise, contained on this website and any other website linked to this website. You are solely responsible for the actions you take in reliance on the content on, or accessed, through this site.

For your shopping experience, we provide links to numerous European manufacturers’ work wear and protective gear catalogues. New Zealand Workwear is not responsible for the condition or content of the catalogues, nor makes any representation or warranties of any kind as to the accuracy of information or content in the catalogues.
New Zealand Workwear is not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of the catalogues or goods that are purchased from the manufacturers through the New Zealand Workwear website.
Terms of sale
In addition to the above General Website Terms and Conditions, the following terms and conditions of sale apply to all purchases by you through our website. By completing a purchase order you are stating that you agree to be bound by all of these terms and conditions.
Acceptance of Orders: Acceptance of an order depends on stock availability. If the product is listed but not in-stock, an order for the product will be rejected with the reason noted and a suggestion to use the “Add To Quote” feature which manages purchase orders and importation of products from Europe.
Prices: If the listed product is in stock, we will charge you the price shown on the website (in New Zealand dollars) at the time you submit your order. If you use the “Add To Quote” feature to purchase the product from Europe, you will be charged the price that is offered in the quote response. You will be obliged to pay for the product once you place the order to import, but your account will not be debited until the product package has arrived in New Zealand. (Make sense? Complicated!)
Payment: You may pay online by MasterCard, Visa, Amex, QCard, New Zealand Workwear account credit. (???)
New Zealand Workwear account credits
When you return a purchased product to New Zealand Workwear, for any valid reason and with the product in like-new condition, you may choose to credit your account with the full amount paid for the product. Your accrued account credit can then be used to purchase any other products.
We currently only supply to New Zealand addresses. Please ensure the your registered account details, such as delivery address and receiver’s name, is accurate and complete. We will not take responsibility for any orders that go missing due to incorrect delivery information provided by you.
We will endeavor to deliver goods on the agreed delivery dates but, to the maximum extent permitted by law we will not be held liable for late delivery. Delivery to rural addresses may take longer in some areas. Delivery will be deemed to have been made when the goods arrive at the registered delivery address.
When in-stock products are purchased, or imported products have been received from Europe, you will be notified by email when the product package is dispatched for transport to your registered delivery address. You must notify us within 8 days of the dispatch date (as stated in the email we send confirming dispatch) if you have not received an item. Risk in the goods will pass to you on delivery.
Once your order is confirmed we are unable to change or cancel any aspects of your order. Please carefully check your order details before completing payment of the order. In order to protect our customers and services, we reserve the right to cancel orders or request other methods of payment for orders received. (???)
Consumer Guarantees Act
Nothing in these terms and conditions will limit or affect your rights as a consumer under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 to the extent that such limitation or other contracting out is prohibited by that Act.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- we exclude all warranties, descriptions, representations or conditions in relation to the goods and/or services provided by us implied by law, trade, custom or otherwise;
- where goods are advertised with reference to photograph(s) we will endeavor to deliver the corresponding goods, however we do not warrant that the goods we deliver to you will be identical to those displayed in the photograph(s);
- our liability for any claim, damages, loss or expense related to the supply by use of goods or services is limited to the cost paid by you for such good or services;
- we will not be liable, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise for any indirect, consequential or special loss or damage, or loss of profits, loss of data, loss of savings and loss of opportunity.
